The details!!! They have the details that make this restaurant special. Great food, drinks & staff! Best sourdough in my opinion.. and that’s just the beginning of the meal.

Incredible dining experience! The atmosphere is unlike any other and gives off a real cool vibe. We’ve been here a few times now and we continue to have amazing experiences. We decided to bring our own wine this time and the options were a $50 corkage fee or the fee was waived if you chose to share a glass with another table. We were more than happy to share (plus the server didn’t pour a whole lot in the third glass) so we opted to share with another table. Our service was impeccable and the food was out of this world. We ordered the petite duchess filet (6 oz.) and the short rib stroganoff...which was out of this world. We also ordered the truffle Mac and cheese and broccoli, which were both insanely tasty! We didn’t save much room for dessert but this was by far one of the best meals/experiences we’ve had! Can’t wait to come back again!

An amazing steakhouse in Chicago! They have a really interactive BYOB policy. You can bring a standard size bottle of wine (750ml) per two people. If you want to avoid the corking fee all you have to do is share a glass with another table. We sent a glass out and we received a glass. It was such a fun experience! We started with the baked crab cake which was phenomenal, the sauce was perfect. We ordered the classic ribeye chicago cut and it was cooked perfectly. The meat was tender and juicy. The loaded baked potato was the perfect side. We also received a free ice cream since we were dining in for my birthday.Definitely recommend this steakhouse in Chicago and I would eat here again if I ever go back to visit!

Questions & Answers

They validate parking at the garage on Wells

Definitely the parlor

Not sure. Give them a call to confirm. ?

Wine selection frequently updates.

They don't have valet anymore. You park at the garage at 401 Wells (Mart Parc) for a discount rate and give the host your ticket to validate before you leave Bavette's

I think 8 is the most. Their sister restaurant next door, Gilt, is better for large parties (we had 20 there).

Not entirely sure what your asking (you may want to reread your post), but to my knowledge they only have one set menu. Though if you're asking if they'll sign a menu as a take away for a birthday I'm sure they probably would, but a direct call will get that answered for you very quickly.

Yes. It is BYOB but the corking fee is a glass of wine for another table.

I believe it's mart parc orleans parking lot.

I'm sure if you call them before hand and explain it's your birthday they won't have an issue
