Nando

Every few months I making a mistake of going to a Nando Milano just yet to be disappointed again. I'm not sure why do I have such mazochistic tendances. Charming outside sitting and ambience probably have something to do with it. Besides it there is really nothing else. Food is mediocre at best (especially if you normally dine in NYC or Chicago). Service non existent. Last dinner when I had gazpacho that tasted anything but it and waiting for my main course for 40 min without apologies of any sort put a final end in my relationship with this space.

Had a calamari appetizer on the servers suggestion. It was just ok. The sauce was like watered down buffalo. Sauce. My entree (crab and lobster ravioli with a single scallop) was absolutely delivious. However i could have eaten 3x what they gave me bc fat american. My date didnt finish her wild boar parpedelli which was good because i was still hungry. It was just ok tho too. My entree was good enough to come back but overall it did not live up to the hype.

Stopped for drinks and apps at the bar on Saturday night! The bartender made my drink incorrectly TWICE, then still charged me full price. I was simply asking for a Tito’s with club soda and lemon/lime garnish. They kept adding lemonade and lime juice ugh — anyways, won’t be back!! Paid $20+ for two drinks I didn’t even enjoy.
