We were in town and looking for some Mexican food. After searching around, we found this place and decided to try it out. A little empty when we got there at about 830 pm on a Monday night.Once the food came out, we were pleasantly surprised to how well it tasted. We were a little skeptical as the place was dead. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were great!

In my opinion this is the best West End Alexandria Mexican restaurant. The chimichanga is terrific (I like both the beef and the chicken versions). The taco al carbon also excellent. The beans and rice sides are all freshly made. The only thing that could be improved on is the thin drippy salsa they serve with their chips. But it is hard to complain when they are giving it to you free. The happy hour drink prices may be the best in our area.
