Poutine. Who knew? I spoke with Tom, one of the owners, and I asked him how they came up with such a successful concept, seemingly out of the blue. They had worked for other restaurants that offered poutine on the menu, which went over decently except for the Canadians that tried it. So Tom, Matt and Adam went on a whirlwind tour of Canada, each of them eating 36 servings of poutine over a few days. They made notes about what they liked and what they didn't, and came up with the recipe they use today. It's brilliant, and there is something here for just about anyone. Highly recommended.

Interesting little place that serves up sausages, sliders and, poutine with a nice little beer/wine store attached to it.The food was delicious and the service was pretty good, I was just a bit weirded out by my corn dog; it tasted great but looked like something you'd visit a urologist about.

Questions & Answers

We have a black bean sausage that you can substitute for the kielbasa. We have a large vegetarian and vegan selection of items (including poutine!), though that is the only sausage that could be substituted for that dish. Feel free to call if you have additional questions.

On average around $12, the portions are a good size for the price.

It was abandoned for a long time (10+ years) before Banter. According to some, before that it was a laundromat or a bar.
