Food isn't the best and prices tend to be high for the small portions and mediocre quality of food. Located inside the zoo visitor center. Lots of seating inside and outside.

20 minute wait for two dry cheeseburgers. 6 people working and the food was cold. Como should look at partnering with someone other than Lancer.

The girl I ordered my food with didn’t ask me if I wanted it as dine in or to go. When they brought my order out on a plate I asked if they could just slide it into a to-go container because I didn’t realize they’d put them on a plate. The worker rolled her eyes at me and said they should charge me for dirtying dishes. She was extremely rude and the food wasn’t worth the terrible service.

Super small soda is $3.19, big sign no refills. Burger was edible but side salad was upcharge and was very, very small for the price. Overall very expensive for what you got. As a comparison it makes airport food seem inexpensive and tasty.

The Zoo deserves a better coffee place. The food is mediocre and overpriced.Good enough for coffee but for food I end up bringing my own snacks.

Food was overpriced, unsanitary and disgusting. There were dead mice and chipmunks in the oil used for popcorn and food would often have spit or other bodily fluids in the food due to lack of gloves. Managers liked to ignore the unhygienic employees and work conditions. The manager connie would swear at the employees and spit in the drinks of costumers she disliked. The food was crawling with bugs. The lollipops usually had holes in them due to mice chewing on it. The food smelled like animal feces and honestly believe there might be some in there. This is a review of a former employee who often endured heat related illnesses due to the lack of care for employees. I would 100% agree that no body work here. People are paid 8 dollars to risk heat strokes. If I could give 0 stars for the review I would. Forgot to mention the lions sadly died. One of old age and the other of self deprecated starvation.

DO NOT ORDER THE KIDS BURGER! It's freakishly small, tiny! Less than 3" in diameter and the meat is less than 1/8" thick. Cost: $6.99! For $1.50 more you could get an adult size. Will never return.

All rentals must be returned to Garden Safari Gifts before the Zoo and Conservatory close.

We do have several animals that have been deemed unreleasable including our cougars and several sea lions. The majority of the animals have been born in zoos.

If the tree had white/pinkish colored spikes with sage colored long leaves, you may have smelled a Russian Olive tree. The smell is just amazing. And now is the time. Along the paths of East and West River Roads, you can sometime walk along and be caught in the breeze off the trees. Really fun!
