Food isn't the best and prices tend to be high for the small portions and mediocre quality of food. Located inside the zoo visitor center. Lots of seating inside and outside.

20 minute wait for two dry cheeseburgers. 6 people working and the food was cold. Como should look at partnering with someone other than Lancer.

Strollers and wheelchairs are available for rent at Garden Safari Gifts. Single-seat strollers and wheelchairs are available for $6 per day. Double-seat strollers are available for $9 per day. All rentals must be returned to Garden Safari Gifts before the Zoo and Conservatory close.

We do have several animals that have been deemed unreleasable including our cougars and several sea lions. The majority of the animals have been born in zoos.

If the tree had white/pinkish colored spikes with sage colored long leaves, you may have smelled a Russian Olive tree. The smell is just amazing. And now is the time. Along the paths of East and West River Roads, you can sometime walk along and be caught in the breeze off the trees. Really fun!
