My Valentine's Day chocolates are delicious! So glad my husband found this place.

Joann makes fabulous chocolates. Thrilled she has a storefront in downtown Carmel! They are beautifully designed but even more exquisite in taste.

Xcholo'art is a welcome change to the modern American candy store. You walk in to a little botique shop that is much more akin to a jewelry counter. Inside the counter you get to pick each of your unique and brightly colored gems, or chocolates that can make a set.While I consider some to be a bit too sweet for my taste (banana nutella and whiskey honey), others were a delightful surprise (chai, passion fruit, orange peels, pistachio). The passion fruit caramels were also delightful; the passion fruit comes to life in your mouth.Overall, I would make a return trip to try more flavors. A dark chocolate raspberry that isn't too sweet would be a lovely find.
