A lot of these glowing five-star reviews are from people that only have one review to their name which is suspect. It would be one thing if this place was really out of this world, but that's hardly the case.Totally dead on a Friday evening, even when adjacent cafes and restaurants were packed. I was the only customer in there. Many reviews noted what a whimsical shop this was and it's .. not. It's literally like a bootleg Baskin-Robbins, terrible florescent lighting and all. But whatever, let's get to the cookie dough. It wasn't even good! I've been to Cookie Dö around the corner which is stellar. I chose the "classic" cookie dough which did not have chocolate chips (?!). I didn't even finish it. I was totally duped by all the good reviews, which I think are fake. I would avoid this shop and would not recommend.

What impressive Instagram marketing campaign they have. The photos online are all beautiful representations of cookies both extremely gooey inside and wonderfully crunchy outside. The truth of the location is a far different story. A grimy interior (noticeable from the cookie case photo) and a staff that doesn’t really care are poor accompaniments to one of the worst cookies I’ve ever had. It tasted like pure, practically liquid sugar. Parts of the hard exterior were edible, but the mess of an inside was nasty. You’re better off going to the store and buying any cookie item to receive a better experience. It was disappointing, especially for a relatively pricey cookie,to receive this pile of slop. Chip NYC isn’t too far away- do yourself a favor and go there instead.

Cookies are amazing, cookie dough is nice and you can try samples before choosing flavour. Staff really lovely but the inside of the store is quite odd! Very empty and needs a revamp
