Love this place. But just ordered there takeout. It's a joke they are charging you the same as if you are in, but yet if you order take out you get a 4 slice personal pan pizza. Plus the quality and an taste is not there. I get it everyone is hurting but this is a scam

Hot garbage of an experience at a place that’s usually extremely goodArrived at 7:20, drinks and food in at 7:30Pizza arrived at 8:20, soggy and not fully cooked after a long waitMaybe an off night but then another 15 minute wait until our bartender returned to box our pizza and give us our check, plus clearly only ate a slice and a half but was aloof to the condition of the product we received Will definitely be a long time until we return unless we are feeling a soggy pizza, long wait, and subpar service Oh and I’m excited about going home and then reheating my pizza so I can enjoy it hopefully this time

Being from Raleigh I enjoy being able to support local beer scenes when I travel. We were catching a show up the street and wanted a bite beforehand. I can say that the pizza was quite good (kale and feta go well together! Who knew?). As noted in other reviews there are pros and cons to a busy seat-yourself place. It's hard on the servers, so I would suggest actually having a hostess seat patrons. The beer...was...average at best. Schwarzbier was good as was the kettle sour IPA. I was unimpressed with the boysenberry Gose had no tartness to speak of, which kinda defeats the purpose of the style. Their Dog Paddle IPA had an odd sour dairy flavor to me and the Maple lager didn't taste like maple. Long story short - go have a pizza. Be selective about your beer choices.

one of our favorite breweries in town! When my husband and I moved here from San Diego a few months back we were on the hunt for some great breweries. I found Wasserhund Brewing Company on Instagram and decided to give it a try. Needless to say we loved it. They have great beer and great pizza. It is a little far from where we live but at least once a month we will go out to enjoy ourselves. highly recommend!

My hubby and I love this place! They honor veterans and dogs, 2 of our favorite things. They donate some of their proceeds to a bunch of charities. Their brick oven pizza is so so good, and so is the big Bavarian pretzel!! This last time we went, service was not stellar. And our bill was WAYYYY more expensive than it should've been.

Love this place! My new favorite brewery. All their beers are super smooth. Some breweries have one or two really good beers. My wife loved it too which is always a plus. If you haven't been yet, go. And try the awesome Pizza!

Cool little spot to hangout, and some cool pizza options. Their signature pizza was good besides the mustard that was on it.

Great German style beer, great pizza and brats. And on top of that, two Tesla stations out back pushing 48 amps! Wunderbar!

This review is comprehensive of the beer, pizza and pretzel.Food: the pizza was $15 for a medium. The quality of the pizza was very low. Honestly comparable to Pizza Hut. We also ordered a pretzel, which was really good, but it cost $9. For a pretzel... everything I way over priced. The beer: I got a Hefeweizen, which was really tasty of $7 (over priced for a pint). I wanted an IPA, but the brewery was out of all the IPA beers. Huge bummer. Overall the beer was good, but it is over priced because this is a restaurant, not a true brewery. The service: for a place named after a dog and supposedly being a brewery and not allowing dogs inside. Another huge letdown. Dogs are only allowed outside. And since we were outside it seemed like our waiter forgot about us :(This is a restaurant not a brewery. Way over priced. We will not be coming back.

Great food and service. We ordered a kids peanut butter pizza for our 2 dogs, its was great. Our pizzas were amazing...go for The White Shepard... best BLT you'll ever eat. If you love ipa's, try the Doggy Breath. It's unfiltered and delicious

Tried this brewery's pizza the other night. It was delicious, they use the yeast from their brewing operation for their dough........super cool place....lots of beer! They make it all right there! Excellent drinking, and eating establishment.

Questions & Answers

They have fantastic beers!! Great family place and they are dog friendly too.

We try to always have a gluten free on tap, however due to the in depth process we currently do not have one available.

5 psi would be a good start. Work down for less head, up for more. Remember if you need to decrease, the residual pressure will make excess head. Also, it needs to be at serving temperature.

You can get their German shepeweizen in cans from the brewery. Don't think they sell in stores yet. You can also get a crowler (32 oz can) of any beer they have on tap.
