Classic Italian place that makes its pasta in-house and by hand. Its tucked away on a quaint side street off the beaten path of regular little Italy, it doesn't have the cheesy tourist vibe at all. Its white table cloth, but it's really a "red sauce joint" at its heart. The waiters are attentive, knowledgeable, and charming. The dining room itself is a little stuffy on the inside, but the back patio is all season, with a glass ceiling, twinkle lights, and greenery. Start with the burrata over red peppers, with the option to have it with or without prosciutto. The lasagna is a stand out dish to order. It's made with béchamel sauce instead of ricotta, making it rich and earthy. The fettuccini alfredo was good, but not anything to write home about.

Incredible service. Under priced for how good the food and service are. I liked the eggplant Parmesan appetizer and the home made fettuccini.

I was introduced to Villa Mosconi by a friend who dines there regularly and is in the foodie scene. The restaurant itself is low key, however the food is not! The burrata is so fresh, the needle and haystack pasta (can't remember the proper name) is quite possibly some of the best pasta I've had in the city. I wish we lived a little closer so I can come more often! The service is top notch and Jerry, one of the owners, makes you feel like you're at home.

An old fashioned style Italian restaurant with excellent food and a very attentive wait staff. Clean bathrooms too. And parking is available after 6pm on the surrounding streets.

Hands down my most favorite restaurant in NY. The staff is always incredibly friendly, the food delicious, and the place has a quaint and relaxing feel. I prefer to sit in the back patio area. It is also in a great area with lots of things to do!

Had a good experience in this spot with my kids. The food was served rapidly and the service is just awesome. Prices are convenient.

Authentic good old world Italian food

The very best. I Have been going to this restaurant since 1980. Not once has there been a bad experienceFood is delicious.The Staff is lovely. Jerry, Carlos everyone. Is no wonder why this family owned Restaurant is still going strong. The BEST Restaurant. Five Star!

Danny was our server this evening, I was very unsure on what delicious thing to have for dinner since this was my first actual Italian restaurant. He was very informative and and helped me pick some that ended up being OH MY GOODNESS DELICIOUS! all service was superb and very professional! Recommend 100%

What an amazing meal and experience! The owner, Jerry and our waiter, Carl, were so welcoming and friendly - exceptional service that is difficult to find these days. And of course, the food and wine were superb. Will absolutely be back!!

Had a GREAT Dinner. Loved every bite of the Veal Parm & Spaghetti. Waitstaff friendly and professional. Lovely evening. Very casual dress acceptable.

Classic old-world service and excellent food

Ambience, acceptance, superb focused service and of course the perfect Italian cuisine. Never before have I entered a restaurant and have it click on all levels. If this is your first Italian restaurant, it will ruin you on all others in the future. It seemed liked they opened the restaurant just for us. Forgot I was in America.
