Verde on Smith

Overall a 3.5 star rating in my and my girlfriend's opinion for brunch. This place had a great atmosphere with friendly staff and fair prices. One of few places where you can reserve a table for brunch. We have been to many brunch places throughout the city and have ordered countless omelettes. Here we each ordered an omelette. My girlfriend gave specific instructions for her order which were not followed through and my omelette was supposed to have tomatoes which were lacking. The taste of the omelettes were just alright. The omelettes came with green salad and potatoes. The salad was very plain, not even a vinaigrette on it, and the potatoes were wedges which actually came burnt. We didn't take advantage of the bottomless mimosa deal which could've bumped up our rating.

I was pleased with everything! besides the salmon and cheese on the bread. I was expecting more with the salmon. The buffalo wings were so great, had a lot of sauce. Calamari was friend perfectly. The potatoes were seasoned great and toast was amazing. The eggs had mozzarella cheese which threw me off a little but it was still nice. Their bottomless drink menu is great too. The waiter was so nice and very very persistent on making sure we were satisfied. I would come here again and recommend it.

At the time I went, it was an over hour wait time regardless of our big party reservations. However once, we sat down the food and drinks didn't disappoint. The servers were very nice and accommodating. They was able to attend to everyone despite how packed it was, would go back.
