Dope spot with calm vibes. Honestly the chicken sandwich is everything and the drinks are strong and fruity. Made reservations and the table was there waiting for us. Try all the sauces on your fries.

Tropical 128 is a tiki bar in Little Italy / Chinatown. ((3.5 stars, rounded up to be nice)known for its generous happy hour prices, Tropical 128 is a large space: tons of tables in the front, the kitchen/grill is tucked in the front corner, there are two large bars (one in the front and one in the back), a large aquarium full of fish, and more. mostly recently, i stopped in here because i was heading home and didn't want to cook. i ordered a cheeseburger ($8) + fries ($2) for takeout. a huge patty topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions--all sandwiched between a soft kaiser roll. it was pretty big and filling. the patty is seasoned-well. all in all i was happy with burger and fries. the fries were solidly okay. overall, the bar is a good place for cheap drinks IF happy is in effect. the food fairly wallet-friendly and that's a nice touch.staff is chill.drops mic cuz i am two-handing these cheeseburgaaaaa

Came here on a Saturday night. Great DJ playing fun dance music with average drink prices for bottles beers and mixed drinks you’d find pretty much anywhere in the city. It’s definitely a younger crowd, average age from 22-25. It was pretty packed but it’s a big spot so you could easily find room to dance. Overall, I’d recommend it to friends looking for a fun place to do out on the weekend.
