Saigon Vietnamese Sandwich

The #8 curry chicken sandwich is delicious. Always consistent too, I order many times from there.

Best bah mi place in lower east side. However the price of their bah mi constantly continues to rise. This place is also CASH ONLY! There is an ATM located inside for customers. Other than bah mi, there are other authentic Vietnamese food such as summer rolls, side dishes and Vietnamese coffee sold there. Personally I always get the #1 bah mi which is the classic Vietnamese sandwich with minced prom, Vietnamese salami, Vietnamese ham, cucumber, cilantro, pickled radish. #1 can be made both spicy and non spicy. All the flavors are seasoned in to the meat. This is my boyfriend's FAVORITE bah mi place in NYC. This is his to go meal when we are in a hurry as service and food is fast and made to order. However for me, the most recently bah mi I got was slightly too dry for my taste. The minced pork was a little dry and bland. There was also no sauce or mayonnaise compared to other places. There is no bathroom for customers. There are limited seatings. A couple window seat.
