Loved it! Pricey, but the food might have been the best I had all year, no joke. The bartenders are pretty hot too, and the service is fast and high quality.

The atmosphere is absolutely incredible. Our server, Christine, was beyond knowledgeable. Super friendly, knew more about the establishments food than I'm sure the chefs did. Food, and wide variety of cocktails were absolutely delicious, with an emphasis on ingredients made in house as much as possible. Had the Jambalaya with a specialty cocktail called Winning Colors with Hibiscus Infused Gin. The atmosphere and ambient music adds to this historic charm of this brick claden and driftwood building. Absolutely would come back.

AMAZING!!! We came for dinner on a Saturday night. We were in town for the Ravens and Bills game. We were coming from Toronto, Canada. The food is amazing and the service was excellent! Great customer service and atmosphere. I will be recommending this to all my friends and family when they visit Buffalo.We ordered the greens salad, buttermilk fried chicken and shrimp/sausage jambalaya. For dessert, we had the ooey gooey cake and brown butter ice cream. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING AND DELICIOUS!!!

To be honest I had heard great things about this restaurant. However, having been to New Orleans, and grown up on "Southern" cooking this was just ok. Maybe others rave, because they haven't had better. I have.

Favorite!! Absolutely love this place. If you love southern food, excellent drinks and an ambiance that makes you want to linger over your gumbo and have one more biscuit, Toutant is for you! The restored building is incredible too.

Great comfort food. Good flavors. Bar staff where had great cocktail suggestions. Will go again soon.

Service was fantastic every step of the way, no question. Very welcoming and patient. Atmosphere was cozy and enjoyable. Making reservations was very simple as well!Food was pretty good, not great. Sweet potatoes were meh. Fried chicken was pretty tasty, very juicy and fell right off the bone. Breakfast sandwich was good as well. Prices were fair for what you received portion wise. I think I was expecting the food to be amazing but it was mostly okay. Could be worth a visit and other dishes might be more spectacular.Overall, good experience.

Great Southern chicken and cornbread service was good as well.

I mean. What's not to like about this place? Smoked ice cream, crazy cocktails, and fried everything. The atmosphere is fantastic and I'll never be the same again.

After months and months of my husband raving about the food at Toutant, I was finally able to experience it for myself. I was SO impressed! The wait staff was friendly and upbeat. We didn’t have to wait very long for food, despite it being super busy. If going with a group I’d recommend getting several different menu items to share/try. The fried chicken, corn bread and hush puppies really hit the spot! Can’t wait to go back!

Best Cajun food in Buffalo! Wonderful atmosphere. Definitely a favorite for show night!

The food is all right. The room was so comfortable, absolutely spectacular food at Toutant(there we ate two meals).

Great place. Kind staff and nice food. Loved shrimp and grits and fried chicken! Paid parking lot is across the street.

awesome food. I love their stuffed crab cakes. My wife actually likes the steak even more. I would say this is top 3 in the state!
