Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak

About

New York chef Tom Colicchio brings his passion for cooking with fire to the Las Vegas Strip with Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak at The Mirage. The 220-seat restaurant will focuses on meats prepared entirely over an open flame - from wood-burning ovens to charcoal grills. On the menu, Tom returns to the American cultural tradition of meat, focusing on antibiotic-free animals raised by purveyors committed to time-honored farming practices and heritage breeds. The glow of the hearth permeates the entire restaurant and is reflected in the Bentel+Bentel design highlighting natural materials.

The dry aged strip was pretty tough! A 65 dollar steak should melt in your mouth. My wife had the filet and it was tender but on the dry side for being cooked medium. The service was top notch.

Stellar steak house which delivers a great experience. The hostesses and wait staff are professionals, and the space is well designed. The steaks are juicy and delicious. My fave is the heavily marbeled rib eye. The inside of the restaurant is dark, woody and modern. There is a bar area as well, which is viewable from the casino. If you're looking for a great steak dinner, check this place out!

Questions & Answers

It is comparable to high end restaurants. Definitely not cheap but not super expensive like some restaurants I have gone to. For 2 I would expect a 200-300 bill, depending on drinks and entrees.
