We arrived at Friday evening for the 1800 set. So we where in the first group of the day and where sitting around the first half of the kitchen table. And there where room for around 16 people around the table.Everyone at the table could choose between a 14 or 16 piece tasting menu that is mostly the same. And the first 8 is served at the same time, and then the next group gets the same treatment.The food where great, the drink menu where good, and the service and atmosphere where excellent.

A counter top experience allowing each diner to view the creative process. Service was Service was competent, charming and attentive. Food is 20+ course each comprising of small bites. However, the bites were loaded with flavour. We really enjoyed the experience. The only remark I would have is that for a 2* I expected more creativity.

From the moment we walked in the service was impeccable. The food was out of this world and the introduction of each dish really showed the passion used in its creation. Seeing everything up close and personal adds to the experience and atmosphere. James and his kitchen team are amazing! The sommeliers and the Maitre D were so knowledgeable and friendly and made you feel so welcome throughout. Thanks for such a great night!

One of the best meals we’ve had in London to date. We absolutely splurged to go on Valentine’s, and it was really worth it. Of course the food is delicious but the whole experience is mesmerising and great fun. Will head back for sure, but not before we hit up Bubbledogs just outside!

This is my favourite restaurant in London, for food at least, with Core close second, based on the overall experience. This was my second time here, and it was just as brilliant, exciting and fun as last time. The tasting menu, using the local (mostly English) produce, is beautiful to look at and even better to taste. The highlight for me was the engagement with the chefs, and James in particular - so generous with his time and humour. Do I wish it didn't feel so cramped and was in a different space, most certainly, but I would sit in the cellar to be able to see magic like this unfold in front of me, in all its theatrical tasty beauty, and see the best of English cooking today on display. Fantastic service, especially from Bart, the Frenchman coming to us via Tokyo.

This was my second visit. Again, I was amazed by the talented chef for the fabulous dishes that he created. The menu looks simple but the dishes are sophisticated. Very friendly staff. Very enjoyable dinner and I surely recommend Kitchen Table to anyone who looks for food of thought and warm hospitality.

What an incredible experience. Not just a meal but a phenomenal night of entertainment too. Sat around the kitchen you get to observe the masters in action, watch how precisely they cook food and the details involved in preparation. The head chef also comes around and has a chat with you as you eat as well. The food itself was awesome. 14 courses of pure heaven. Such a variety of food but each course is phenomenal. Hands down the best meal and food experience I have had. This restaurant is a must visit.

The whole experience was awesome, as this is not one of those obnoxious michelin star restaurants, that are all about appearances, without having any substance. Kitchen Table is a relaxed environment with friendly staff that interact with you and most importantly the food is exquisite! It's expensive but it's so good that the cost won't bother you. 5 stars are not enough for this. I've been to several michelin star restaurants and I wouldn't visit most of them again but I would eat every night at Kitchen Table, if I could! :-)

Excellent meal and service at kitchen table

One of the best restaurants in all of London. I’ve been to core, the Ledbury, clove club Gordon Ramsay and many more. This is one of the best and if you really love food and want to appreciate it and watch the chefs work then this is the best restaurant in London. Every table is a chefs table so you get to see the chefs work and talk to them throughout the night. All the dishes were amazing with nothing that didn’t work. I think it’s better to come as a 2 top as you are all facing the chefs so talking between 4 would be hard. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back. It’s worth the money

Great meal and fun to sit around the kitchen and watch and interact with the chefs. We had about 18 courses over about 3 1/2 hours so be prepared!
