TL; DR - this is my favorite place, hands down, in all of NYC. I take the people I love here first. Low on pretension and high on style, the Tyger delivers in every capacity, except literal delivery/takeout itself which it unfortunately stopped due to excessive demand. The food is excellent- don’t miss the Singapore crab fried rice and baby gem lettuce (believe it!) classics, but everything I have had there has been at least solid if not amazing. The menu itself is always changing but without extraneous duds so you are always safe experimenting. The cocktails are the same- solid, with a surprising variety of excellent takes condensed into a manageable amount of choices. You will not die a syrupy sweet death drinking these. Finally, the vibe of the staff is excellent, welcoming and inclusive. You always feel at home and as if the staff could be friends in another life. This is just a fantastic place that I cannot gush enough about.

I went to have dinner with my wife. The ambience was fantastic and we we are exited to try the menu. Food was marvelous, specially the hamachi. I am giving this 2 star and not a 5 star because of service. They say the experience for two was to order 5 plates one from each sección. We did, I felt it was too much so I specifically asked the server if we were ordering too much food. We had to make a big effort to finish eat the 4th plate and the 5th plate went directly to a box that I had to preparer myself. It was Not honest advice from the server which only wanted to make the bill bigger, regardless of we could eat the food or not. Ps. It was a 250USd. + tip bill. Overpriced. Conclusion is that I recommend the place and the experience but don’t trust the servers, no honest ppl.

Delicious Southeast Asian food. We tried Singaporean Crab Fried Rice, crispy lamb Ribs, Banh Xeo and coconut bomb. Everything is pretty good. Though the lamb rib is slightly overcooked.

Great dining experience. Everything we ate was delicious and the staff was excellent. Highly recommend for those looking for a style of Southeast Asian food not commonly found in NYC.

The service was incredible and the restaurant is beautiful but the food wasn’t anything to write home about.

First of all, just YUM, okay. Do you hear me? 😋 I would most definitely go back. There is indoor and outdoor seating available, the drinks and food are absolutely amazing, the staff are great and have good attention to detail 👌 They know how to make their customers feel special. Okay, so when I went back on June 30th, we were a party of 5 and celebrating a birthday. We started off with a party of 3 and sat at the bar. I had the tyger strype. The drink itself is 😍. It was delicious! Not too strong, or too weak. It was perfect. My friends both had drinks that were blue, but I can't recall the name. We grubbed on some miso butter escargot, phnom penh fried chicken, Singaporean chili crab fried rice, house made noodles, crispy lamb ribs, and salt and pepper crispy snapper tempura. The least liked dish, which there was a general consensus we could've done without, was the ribs. Everything else 😋 👌🙌 The bill was a bit over $600, I believe. But when it's split so many ways, it's not so bad. Each of us spent anywhere from $120-$150. We treated the birthday boy 😁 The atmosphere inside is pretty loud for my taste, but I didn't really care because my mind was on my deliciously decadent food 🤣

The place looks great; has a nice atmosphere and the staff is nice. However it took more than an hour for three dishes to get out of the kitchen. The food was mediocre really -- I don't even have a high standard for food but if you can imagine what gentrification does to a neighborhood this is it. The flavours were too strong, the ribs were overcooked and I paid more than a hundred dollars for it. There's plenty of places in the neighborhood where you can get a banger meal for 1/4th the price.

Really great experience here. Staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. We did “The Feast” for 5 of us and wow were they not kidding. I would’ve been great with a bit less food or a few less courses because we were so full about 3/4 of the way through. However, it was all absolutely incredible. The beef ribs and oyster mushroom noodles were my personal favorites and the dessert was vegan and amazing. Drinks were great as well - definitely recommend.

Excellent service and the food has a delicious spicy tinge to it. The beef short rib curry was fabulous and the chicken satays are some of the best I have ever had!

Delicious and innovative food! We got the banh xeo, chili crab rice and egg noodles. All delicious! Not pictured was the pork skewer and the pumpkin curry which were both great as well.

For some reason I feel like I don't really see this restaurant come up in recommendations but I tried it out with a friend recently and the food was really good! Would definitely come back. Cocktails were good and the desserts were fantastic

The Tyger does a great job in taking traditional Asian cuisine to an elevated depth of flavor. I had the experience of dining the prefix meal which is only available to parties of 4 or more and is $85 a person. The timing of the courses were spot on and each dish had its own unique twist to it. Everything was cooked exceptionally well from a culinary stand point and I was very pleased with the whole experience. Definitely a great spot for business meetings, date nights, and many more special occasions.

Amazing food! Definitely a must try. Every dish and cocktail was delicious. Service was great too. The scallops, shaken beef skewers and crab fried rice are so good. Basically can’t go wrong ordering.

EXTREMELY OVERRATED. The concept is really cool but the food is not as good as it looks. The curry was extremely spicy no one on our table could eat it. The best dish was the noodles with mushrooms which I can definitely make at home. Overall great presentation but overpriced and not really good flavour pallets.
