I'm a huge fan of Monte Cristo and this was Soo gooooood. Never had friend green tomatoes either until today and WOW SO GOOD. Wisconsin needs to have these!!!

We stopped here on our way to Chesapeake, what a great place to stop instead of the regular chain restaurants. Cozy atmosphere, very good food and good service. I had one of their signature breakfasts which was a lot of food and well presented. The food was tasty, their hash brown casserole was great and the pancakes light and fluffy, will surely return and try something different next time. Would definitely recommend The Plaid Turnip.

No, i doubt they are open for breakfast they stop serving breakfast around 10:30. I tried calling and no one was answering the phone.
