Harper's Table

We visited Saturday night and had a great meal! The atmosphere is laid back and feels very rustic. Our server and hostess were extremely nice and very helpful! I ordered the crispy chicken, the special calamari salad, and he ordered the biscuit and quail. All of our dishes were delicious, and I you love southern food, you I'll like this place a lot! We split apple crisp for dessert and it was well worth the wait for them to make it!

We debated between Harper’s and a few other places in Hampton Roads for dinner this evening. We were so happy with our decision to dine at Harper’s Table as we called ahead to see what their specials were. The fried oysters, as a happy hour special, were perfect. Just lightly battered but enough to hold that crispy part that we all love. They had sold out of the rockfish but my wife had the crab cakes and I had the soft shell crab special. Both dishes were delicious and the sides to compliment the main course were just as good. Hands down, thumbs up, the best soft shells I’ve ever had. My wife ranks her crab cakes as tied for 1st. We highly recommend hT to anyone looking to have a for sure good meal!

Really nice service. Great food. Don't sleep on the pork belly biscuits. The Mexican coke float is a great desert as they make their own ice cream.... Fun fact you can get their coffee iced cream in the coke float for a super secret delicious treat. My only "meh" with them was my steak was slightly over cooked but it was still delicious! Next trip back I'm returning for sure.
