We visited family in Manlius NY over Christmas and spent some time at the outdoor ice rink in Syracuse with my daughter, son in law and three grandkids. I am too uncoordinated to risk putting on skates and venturing out on the ice. Great way for me to find a quick way to the hospital. After the kids had enough of the ice we walked to the Fish Friar for my favorite meal I enjoyed growing up in England, Fish and Chips!! We ordered two orders of Fish and Chips two orders of fish sandwich with sides and a shrimp Caesar salad. Of course the adults sampled the beer that they brew onsite and life could not be better.

Amazing spot.Very chill and relaxed spot in down town.Perfect place to eat outside.Menu is clean and simple and the quality of top notch. Not spectacular but definately a spot you will come back too. The mushy peas and scallop roll are stand outs!
