Shared the “Petit Plateau†of seafood and a side of bread with shallot butter. Seafood was fresh, clean & flavorful. Everything schucked well with no “hangers onâ€, no shell chips and carefully preserved “liquor†of the clams and oysters. Better still were the accompaniments of fresh shaved horseradish (a very nice detail), Mignonette sauce, Tarragon Mignonette and of course, cocktail sauce. The shrimp were truly colossal and cooked perfectly. The crab dip was good just missing a little something. Capers maybe? Service was on point and Mary a delightful host who gets high props for her congenial performance. We felt attended to, but not smothered. Looking forward to going back with a designated driver - the wine list looks great and there’s much more to explore on this menu. Thank you Chef and team!

Unique dishes with food cooked very nice. Portion size is on the smaller size, but still good value. Service is top notch. Ambience and layout is very comfortable and open. Management presence ensures a great meal. Bar has excellent cocktails, with local/semi-local craft brews.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. Go on Saturdays- $1 oysters. The menu changes frequently so even for regulars, there's always something new. The staff is some of the best trained wait staff in Fredericksburg. They do a wine Sunday dinner menu that is one my bucket list. Really can't say enough

My first time eating at Confident Rabbit was a wonderful experience. I loved everything from the drink to the fried oysters and the pasta of the day was just amazing. I will definitely be back for sure!

If you're looking for some upscale dining that really hits the spot, this is where you want to go. Though they specialize in seafood, they also have some very good other apateizer and entree options. The decor has a minimalist beachy vibe and is very bright/well lit. I also like that this restaurant is not a chain.

So far, I have been here for happy hour twice. It is hit or miss as far specials go and what they may be offering it seems. The first time they had pimento cheese and fig jam small finger plate. The second time, only a charcuterie plate. The wines offered and drinks are fantastic. It is a bit on the pricier side when compared with other happy hours in the area. We have decided this might not be a go to place for us for happy hour given all this. That said, the food we have tasted was above par. So much so, we plan to come for dinner.

We had the the All Day Saturday special. $1 dollar raw oysters. They had several different types to choose from. They are more then happy to mix them if you prefer. The cocktail sauce is nice and they have fresh horseradish to kick it up. They also have two other vinegar based dippers. One of which was lemon and Ip really enjoyed it. The seating out front patio/sidewalk was great on this spring day. Staff very friendly and helpful. BONUS free parking across the street.

Friendly, attentive service!!! Fun cocktail options and lots of seafood options. Not a large entree menu, but options seem to be carefully curated so that they all taste amazing.

The food was delicious and the service was great. We were celebrating two birthdays days and when they heard that they gave us complementary Champagne

Tried it for Mother's Day. Decent 3-course selection, and well portioned. The food was tasty...worth a try.
