I am allergic to dairy, nuts, and eggs, so I rarely am able to get a sweet treat in town. However, my mother and I like to see if there's anything I can have when we see a bakery. It's usually the same story: "Sorry, we don't have anything without dairy." I almost didn't go into the Chocolate Moose the first day I found it, but my decision to go ahead and try it out was an awesome one! Their cupcakes taste amazing. Although they do have dairy and nuts in some of their other menu items, they do a great job of making sure your order doesn't get cross-contaminated in the kitchen. I know what caramel tastes like because of the Chocolate Moose. I had never heard of vegan caramel before I tasted theirs, and it was great! I'm so grateful for the Chocolate Moose!

Housed next to a bookstore this is the best and worst combination. Amazing bakes, and a good book, but none of that means burning the calories. 10/10 recommend for anyone living in or visiting Greenville
