Taste Of India

There is only one full service Indian restaurant in Columbus GA and it is Taste of India.I visited two times this week and noticed 50%+ occupancy - they should be doing something right!It is better than most big city Indian restaurants.Family owned and operated business.Weekend Lunch buffet offers good choices.That pistachio ice cream was terrible but I noticed people complementing the owner about the ice cream!About the negative comments that this is not authentic Indian food - one should know that food and language/dialect changes every 50 miles in India. So, no one is qualified to talk about authenticity. When food is offered for a decent price some compromises will be made. If you don't want to compromise on quality then visit Rias ethnic foods but don't complain about price and quantity!This is better than many restaurants in Atlanta GA and Dallas TX.

By far the best Indian food in Columbus. Not only is the Tikka Masala great, but so is their Naan and everything else on the menu. I can't help but finish my plate everytime including the aromatic rice.
