Metro Diner

A good three and a half hours of our day was spent here. Walking in, we understood it was Easter and a party of five would take a little longer to get seated. It was when every single group of people who walked in before and after us was seated and we were still standing there (over an hour and a half later) that it became very frustrating. Once we were finally seated, our waiter was understanding and took our order right away. After waiting for 45 minutes our food came. It wasn’t long before we realized we had the food, but no utensils. We got the attention of our server and asked for some, only to wait over 5 minutes for them. I definitely don’t blame our server for this incredible inconvenience as he was doing the best he could, but someone messed up. One member of our party had completely raw eggs that were inedible so it had to be sent back, further extending the 3 hours we had already been there for. However, the food itself (for most of us) was good.

Food was delicious and the portion sizes were HUGE. You get more than you expected! Also, their specials and coffees are a treat. Don't miss this place! Definitely worth the visit.

My husband and me went to Metro Diner in Columbus, Ga. I had a long day at the doctor so Thank God babe took me out. The waiter named Austin took such good care of us. Great food and service!
