We needed a late-night meal after a convention evening and this place was within walkable distance from the Washington convention center! The wait staff is amazing and know their food and alcohol pairings well! The food is great as well. We ordered the dishes family-style, as they suggested, and we not disappointed as the dishes looked small, but were very filling and flavorful. Definitely give the egg bread and the soup dumplings a try! The meats are cooked just right.Parking may be hard, so look for the nearest metro station (Mt. Vernon Sq/ Convention Center area).

I visited Supra for lunch and am excited to enjoy again! The menu was full of cold and warm starters, delicious soups, soup dumplings and much more. The food was tasty, filling and reasonably priced. The environment was warm and welcoming, full of plants and mirrors. They even have a small shop where you can purchase books, ornate salt and pepper shakers, etc. Highly recommend!

Best meal I've had in a long time. From the wine (nice and fruity) to the salad and large plates, everything was excellent. Georgia is geographically on the northwest border of Turkey. The food had a similar geography. It reminded me of the Turkish pides and kebabs, but the roasted chicken had flavoring that reminded me of Eastern European dumplings. The decor of the restaurant has a midcentury vibe with custom teak/walnut seating and Georgian hats hanging from the ceiling. The bathroom had Georgian vinyl records on the wall and old black and white snap shots in the hall. The servers are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I really loved the place. Try it. You won't regret it.

Very chic but sober decor with some Georgian items: A very soothing ambiance. Each dish was very elegantly presented but more importantly they all were exquisite. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They have a great affordable three course menu for lunch.A real pleasant experience.

Great food and ambiance. If you want to get a good taste of Georgian food and wine, give it a try. You'd need a reservation, but if you don't have one you can sit at the bar which is what we did and enjoyed.

An absolute culinary experience! We went with the waiter's recommendation and sampled some cold and some hot dishes. Everything was delicious. Most had layers of flavor that linger if you pay attention. The tarragon soda was surprisingly refreshing.

A must visit restaurant in DC! Amazing food, and great service. The hot appetizers: potatoes and cauliflowers were yum. The mushroom dumplings were scrumptious (my favorite at this restaurant). We got the trufeleta for dessert, which was easily consumed after a full meal. Simply delish! Would come back.

The $20 business lunch is a great opportunity to try some really good food at a reasonable price. The eggplant stuffed with walnuts was a delicious appetizer. A glass of white wine was perfect with the trout and green tomato relish. If you're in a hurry, service is excellent and you can have lunch in an hour. Or you can just relax and take your time to enjoy your meal. Obviously great care was taken with the decor. There are interesting things to look at everywhere. You can even purchase some funky Georgian-made socks, a hat or other unusual items. A really special place.

I've been here a few times, and it's always been delicious, but last night I did the 'Supra at home' and it was amazing! The instructions were pretty much fool-proof, and everything is portioned out so there's no guesswork. It's worth every penny, and there are definitely leftovers today.

Great wines, dumplings, everything really. Try a chilled Goergian amber. The roasted cauliflower in walnut sauce was great. Lots of veggie options.

Great restaurant. This was my first visit and I cannot wait to go back. The people were very nice and the food is excellent. Make reservations early. The dinning room fills quickly.

Questions & Answers

Hi Jonathan! Thank you for reaching out. We serve very authentic Georgian dishes. In some cases the presentation is exactly what you would find in Georgia. In others, we have tweaked presentation a bit, but the core recipe would still be what you find in Georgia. And with a handful of dishes, we have taken traditional Georgian spices, ingredients, etc. and come up with our own house dishes that you may not find in Tbilisi or Batumi but which would not be out of place there. Chef Ani helps us make sure that anything we invent ourselves would make sense back home. Right now we do not have penovani, but we change up our menu periodically, so you might see it in the future. neighborhood is not the worst for street parking. However the nearest metro stop is only 10 minutes to ealk.

Nevermind thought was shoe brand

There are vegetarian options available.

Mt Vernon Square metro is about a 5 minute walk. Check PandaParking for the nearby garages.

I think your best bet is to take a taxi ( so you can enjoy the tasty Georgia wines), though i do remember seeing on street parking nearby.
