This is an awesome cafe; there’s a reason there’s a queue on weekends. Everything we had was faultless, from the sweet potato fries to the avocado toast, to the bacon & egg roll & the coffee & chai latte. A sign of a good cafe is one that serves simple food perfectly, which this place certainly does. Service was excellent too. Highly recommend.

We came here on a whim for breakfast our first morning in New York and we were not disappointed! While the restaurant is small and cozy, the service was prompt, the coffee was hot and the food was very good. Overall, a fun ambiance and a good experience. Would definitely return here again the next time we're in the city. While a bit pricey, the avocado toast was delicious! Fresh ingredients and great flavors!

Banter was a great brunch experience. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our dishes and the staff was happy to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The wait can be a bit long so just plan in some time beforehand. They have a digital waiting list, so you can stroll around and enjoy the area. Will be back!
