The place serves big dishes and for convenient prices. welcoming staff. Kudos.

The food and service was very good. If I knew it was located inside Macys When I made reservations on open table I would have chosen another place. Just seemed odd or atleast to us. Other than that food and service was worth it. I was looking for more of a hole in the wall NYC place.

Great food, great service from the staff and Terry (our server). Had the half chicken with mushroom. Was better than I expected.

Food is excellent. The waiters and other staff are very friendly and helpful with whatever questions you might have. You don't often find that in most places. Well worth the money.

I was extremely impressed. Most restaurants in NYC take a while to serve you, but not Stella 34 Trattoria. While wandering around NYC looking for a nicer, but not overly expensive place to eat, we looked on Google maps and found this restaurant. I like italian food, so we went here expecting satisfactory food. It was so much higher than my bar than I expected. The food was served quickly, tasted delicious, and the staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. I would go here again!!!

What a cool hidden gem...quiet for conversation...view of 6th Avenue...good salads...who knew it was inside Macy's?

Beautiful views of the city. Service is very professional. A great place to grab a bite before, during or after shopping! Yummy pizza!

Grest food and nice relaxing getaway within Macy's. The rigatonni was very good and a little spicy. We also had a sandwich with chicken milanese, tomato, cucumber, pickled red onion, feta, gaeta olive, aioli. Wonderful!

I hosted our corporate Holiday party here and have to say it was a smash hit - all of our senior executives and guests were raving. From the beauty of the space the food, the service and how easy it was to work with the Stella team - two thumbs up and we hope to book again next year. (Thank you Aliza for the phenomenal event).

Food was okay. Got a white truffle pizza which was insane. Probably not worth the $50 it was. No free bread appetizers (which we ended up buying, for $9 lol). Reserved a table for 7, waited about 10 minutes when we got there and was seated.

The waiters were not welcoming at all. The only good thing was the sliced bread with the fancy butter they gave us before our entree. I ordered the rotisserie chicken, it was more like half cooked chicken. It was so white on the outside and not fully cooked inside. I do not recommend this restaurant. I also had a bite of the margarita pizza, it was good.

You want a special meal experience. Come here to add some spatle to your special occasion. Not unexpensive, tucked away in Macy's you'll feel part off the in-crowd. 😉

My tradition for Thanksgiving Dinner. Make a reservation! My view is pictured and the dinner is a nod to traditional but up several notches -dessert comes with the dinner. For lunch the BLT is delicious with aioli. Look forward to visiting again when traveling to New York! Oh and it’s on the 6th floor of Macy’s on Herald Square! Now how wonderful is that!!!

Hard to believe that one of the very best Italian restaurants is on Macy's 6th floor but it's true. The food is inventive; very imaginative menu with great flavors and freshness served by a great team in a strikingly beautiful atmosphere. Stella is special. Not to be missed.
