Steak n Shake

first of all the girl at the window didn’t say a single word. i was about to ask her if she was mute or just rude. but i was quiet, asked for a cup of water after i paid and they said because their managers were there they could only sell us a bottle of water. TF?? since when can you not give out a cup of free water? also the root beer tasted like straight bitter carbonated water it was undrinkable. really needed that water right then since i had nothing decent to drink :/ bad experience prolly never coming back honestly

Kind staffs make me happy with tasty burger and shake.

Food is great service is terrible. We asked for 3 sauces the guy at the drive thru, the guy acted like we asked for drugs. We are fine with paying for it, then he told us it was going to be .25 cent's... alright we still want it. Then he told us it would be a $1????? 3×.25=.75 but whatever. We got our food and there was one sauce in the bag, that's $1 each not .25 each. I dont know whats more alarming the bad math or the creepy employees.

Lady named Kristy I believe running the drive through had the worst attitude I’ve ever seen at this location. Slammed the window on me and practically threw my food at me and basically acted like me being there was an inconvenience to her. Won’t be going back.

I love Steak n' Shake. I'm sad that they seem to not get enough business to have waitresses come to the table anymore. This is more like fast-food (order at the counter and they bring it out to you). The building itself is really run down and needs to be renovated. But staff is always friendly/kind and the food is always delicious.

Best burgers in their style. Can not go wrong here with real milkshakes

Slow slow service. We, and several customers waited 15 or more minutes with at least 2 to 3 tables or booths open. My granddaughters milkshake arrived to the table as we were leaving. Food was overdone. On an up note the fries were delicious.

Worst experience ever, they should get NO stars! Tammy, the waitress, is a rude and nasty person. We placed a simple takeout order of 1 milkshake and it took nearly 30 mins. to get. Tammy was disrespectful and unprofessional and made rude comments. She should be fired. The manager, Alicia, was not much better. They should not be in the business of serving customers! I called corp a month ago and have never heard back from them. That Steak 'n Shake is a horrible restaurant. I will NEVER go back to that Steak 'n Shake!!!

Oddly enough probably the best coke i have received at a fast food place. The cheese fries aren’t too shabby either.

The perfect place to have our family get together. My two son’s love eating at Steak N Shake once a week. We love when kids eat free all weekend long at Steak n Shake. Our family uses the take out a lot during happy hour on ½ off shakes specials. The entire staff is always busy but they always, make sure our order was cooked to perfect with a side of Frisco sauce

Most of the waitresses are very friendly and helpful, however every time we are here something in our order gets to us wrong. Last time it was my fiancées meal was wrong, this time both of our meals and his shake was wrong. Ordered the chocolate fudge brownie shake after we were told cookie dough and banana were out his shake was 75% banana flavor and chocolate and was melted because they didn't put it up in the window. Essentially kitchen staff is horrible.

Idk what happened to Steak 'n Shake, but there are no more servers. Part of the experience of it was the server. Now it's just another fast food place.

I love to come and bring the family. The food is good and best of all the prices are so reasonable. Staff is always so friendly. I only have 2 complaints. Service is extremely slow and it’s so cold in there you really can’t enjoy your food.

The food was ok, but the dining area was kind of dirty. The staff was unfriendly. One of the waitresses was very rude and cold to us. Our way out, we talked to the manager about the rude waitress, but she didn't really care. Steak n' Shake used to be a good place. What happened?

We arrived at 11am just after they opened. The burgers were ok, but the fries were cold and the milkshakes were a disappointment. When the order number was called, a man who came in a few minutes after us walked up and took my daughter's order, even though she was walking up to get it. She had to show her receipt and wait for her food to be remade. We probably won't be going back anytime soon.
