Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for steakburger. The term "shake" stood for hand-dipped milkshakes. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business. Today, Steak 'n Shake remains the "better burger" leader, serving premium 100% beef steakburgers, hand-dipped milkshakes, thin crispy fries, and more. Steakburgers are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients, topped with fresh produce, and always hand-crafted to order. Other classics include the Frisco Melt, 7x7, Prime Steakburgers, and fan favorite M&M milkshakes.

Went here after the movies around 9:30. The food and service was decent but on ALL 5 burgers, the top bun was smashed down a lot. It Seriously looked like they dropped the top bun on the floor and stepped on it then put it back on the burger. I asked the servers jokingly if that's what they did and they said that it's their manager that smashes the top buns. Very weird. Also we didn't get our shakes till after we had our food already.

Wow, What a treat. Now I know why the High School kids hang out there after school. Oh, the orange shake was soooo good. One of the better fast food places!

We asked to add food last minute when we got to the window, there was no line and they said no. They made us go back around and re order. I think they were testing our laziness versus theirs....we went back around. I guess we won. 🤷â€â™€ï¸ if it's possible don't be jerk.
