We enjoyed a lovely dinner here. The food, wine & service were first class. We loved this very atmospheric painting too.The experience was one of the highlights of our vacation.

The State Grill and Bar!I was expecting a typical bar and grill to match any big tourist attraction.....What we got was a 4 star food service with a 5 star experience!! We both left fuller than we have been in the last few days, and the calamari was freeking amazing!!!!!!Thank you for a great experience :-)

Went forhad the 3 course meal for Valentine's. Starters of Caesar salad, oysters and crab cake. Caesar salad was good but missing parmesan the white anchovies gave a cleaner flavor, oysters were good and came with hot sauce in a dropper,which was cool. The crab cake was the best thing we had. Great flavor, and cook. Entrees of the beef short rib that was tender and came with potatoes with gravy.Desert was their take on red velvet which was decadent and not overly sweet.Service was slow to stay the least once we ordered the good it was difficult to get anyone's attention and we have to flag another server to get out bill. There ere also additional charges on the bill so make sure to check.

Food was fantastic!! The decor is a little odd and almost diner-like, but it's highly stylized and probably just about preference. Our waiter was a little sleepy and not really cut out for this restaurant. As far as the food goes - each dish was beautifully crafted and tasted awesome, with huge portions. It exceeded our expectations.

We found the quality of the food very good with natural ingredients and nicely put together plates. Wholesome comfort food is how I would describe it. The place is clean and sharp, tables spaced appropriately for ambiance but also privacy. The service was excellent, or waiter Jay was nice and friendly with just the right level of familiarity to make us comfortable and welcomed but also let my wife and I the intimacy we wanted. We order the house wine if Spanish provenance, very nice too. Congrats to staff!
