SkyGarten opened its doors to the public in June of 2016 offering an authentic German biergarten where diners can enjoy spectacular views of Center City and beyond from the 51st floor. Hailed by the Philadelphia Inquirer as “Philadelphia’s first beer garden in the sky,” and Best of Philly® 2016 New Beer Garden, SkyGarten is the brainchild of visionaries whose solid footing has already been imprinted in Philadelphia over the past few decades. Mickey Rowley and Louisa Kochman have been operating Top of the Tower, now SKY over Philadelphia, as a prominent corporate event and wedding venue since 1995. In 2015, they expanded and opened the overwhelmingly popular SkyBrunch to the public offering fabulous food with panoramic views 50 stories high above the city streets. Since opening Brauhaus Schmitz in 2009, Doug and Kelly Hager have transformed the way Philadelphians experience German food and drink. Drawing upon their own heritage, the Hagers serve classic Teutonic fare for a modern audience, bringing Philadelphia some of the best brews Germany has to offer. Together, they have brought SkyGarten to Three Logan Square where it gracefully sits as German nobility high in the sky. Guests can step inside their own private hamlet as they mix and mingle both inside and out with family and friends to enjoy the views.

Wow.. Nice views but younger rowdy crowd when I visited. Views get three stars but crowd subtracts two. When it says sky I expected an upscale venue. A few people were dressed the part and were thoroughly dissatisfied by the name, while expecting an night of excellence. I must admit wait staff and bartenders were attentive but drinks are very sugary and lacking alcohol. That $5 cover should have at least deterred the riff raff. Thanks again for the service of the staff but I wished they had a more upscale atmosphere as some people looked liked they were ready for a Hamptons party. Well I was also. Please upgrade your establishment to fine tune the location and your clientele.

Great view but they have a $5 cover charge and no outdoor seating. The drink prices were pretty standard. I got a mojito for $10 If you dont mind standing and want to enjoy the view then this is the place to go. They have seating and games (jenga and some other ones) indoors but I dont think it makes sense to sit inside when the view is so nice.
