They have fatty tuna. Excellent service, good sushi. A little pricey.

great speakeasy upstairs (walk-in only)...not sure if it’s technically a speakeasy but the bar upstairs is definitely a hidden gem. i’d skip the restaurant and head right upstairs ðŸ‘

Foods are really great and really Japanese food!

One of my favorite low key spots in the city. Friendly folks run this place, food is delicious (I mostly get sushi), prices are super affordable, and there's usually an open window table. What more could ya want?

This has been my go to suhi spot for many years. It's a solid spot that never disappoints in a vibrant area that's easy to get to.

1st experience with sushi, it was fresh, & tasty. I was surprised by the texture, I didn't expect fresh fish to have a creamy-like texture.

It's like a Japanese diner. Food is served fast and hot with no frills. Will definitely go back

1 word...AMAZING! $13 lunch special Is unbeatable. salmon was cooked to perfection, crispy skin, brandy sauce instead of the usual teriyaki, even the salad was delicious. it wasnt your typical iceberg with 1 tiny tomato, 1 slice of cucumber salad. it has baby spinach radicchio many tomatoes and cucumbers, even the 3 peices of the roll of the day ,spicy salmon, which I hate, I would actually eat it again. if I had more room I would order more food.

lunch combo is great value, if unspectacular.

Sharaku's sushi is hit or miss, ranging from good-plus to so-so. Service is the same. Sometimes it is slow for no apparent reason. Oddly, salad is being served wet in recent months. Even everyday cooks know better.. When Sharaku is on, they serve a fine meal. But the 1980s vintage Japanese restaurant lacks consistency.

The food was good. The Sushi rolls selection was small. The ambiance was calm which is just what I was looking for on a Tuesday night. Afterwards I got ice cream from Sundaes and Cones a street over. Would return.
