We are a neighborhood-driven, Rhode Island-inspired Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Providence that offers a creative and modern take on rustic Italian fare. Celebrating the history and bounty of the Ocean State, we explore regional Italian cuisine as part of the fabric of Rhode Island – its farmers, purveyors, and artisans. Sarto is open each week for lunch, aperitivo and dinner. Join us with friends and family for a night out on the town, or to celebrate a special occasion. Our restaurant has three unique dining settings: the main dining room featuring an open kitchen and classic deli, a bar and lounge area, and the soffitta overlooking the restaurant from the upper level perfect for private dining.

We stopped in here for a drink on NYE at around 9:00 pm. We were pleasantly surprised that there were seats for us. The bartender was attentive and was clearly working hard. We had already eaten dinner elsewhere and he brought us an appetizer mistakenly thinking that we were having dinner. We tried to send it back but due to his mistake he offered the app to us on the house. It was a deviled egg with a beet filling and smoked roe on top. I don't eat deviled eggs so this is something I never would have ordered. It was out of this world good!!! We loved the loft-like atmosphere. The little jazz band by the bar was quite good. This was a nice intro to Sarto. We will definitely be back in the future!

This restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. Stunning interior and atmosphere, paired with an incredible menu. Each dish was full of flavor and constructed to bring out the best in the ingredients. Paired with an amazing bar program with craft cocktails that will blow your mind, this place is a must visit.
