Racks Fish House & Oyster Bar

I have dined at Gary’s other restaurants and have always enjoyed them thoroughly. This was my first time at his Fish House. It was a great experience. We sat outside on a beautiful slightly breezy night. Our server was Tess and she was great. We asked for recommendations for drinks, apps, and entrees. She steered us right every step of the way. The best, were the antioxidant mojito, the mussels, and the trout. Looking forward to returning after this mess is all over!

We went here on a Sunday for lunch and we had fantastic food and service. Dylan or Dillon was our server and delivered a great experience for us, with a memorable personality and style... The dishes were nice clean flavors, plate presentation 4/5, and bar made nice adult beverages... top level great experience much credit going to the server.Definitely deserves a shot at dinner service and a published write up...

My husband and I have been here twice and it’s always an amazing and fun experience! Food is delicious, my husband loves their oysters and I am there for their smoked fish dip!! Their signature entree’s are delicious and beautiful amazing plate presentation! Carlos was our waiter and he was awesome and accommodating. We will be back again for sure!

STOP what you're doing and get here, fast. The Dragon Roll made this experience unforgettable. A full Maine Lobster- claws full and fried to perfection, tail in small morsel bites, and entire body in a delicious sushi roll. This place has no freezer, so everything is fresh. Impressive!

Yesterday was the first time in this magnificent restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the good service, with the fine food and wine and with the friendly price. We will no doubt return there in a short time.

We just Love Racks Fish House!! We moved to Delray Beach from Ohio and a must to entertaining our visiting friends is dinner at Racks! We have always been warmly welcomed since our first visit. Excellent guest service from the host stand, wait staff and management always comes by to say hello and check if our expectations are being met. We have had the pleasure in meeting a vivacious server named Angel who always shines a big smile and aims to please. His personality entertains us and he and the management team are starting to feel a bit like family because we eat at this place that often! The food.. let’s just say we’ve tried just about everything and from the salads, sushi, shellfish, and seafood entrees. They are always beautifully prepared, presented and are very delicious! On your next visit to Delray Beach Fl, definitely give Racks Fish House a visit and say Hi to Angel, Chris and Justin for me!

Save your time and money. Service was fantastic. Venue is beautiful. Great environment. None of this could overcome the food. The NE clam chowder was served at room temperature and had very little clams that were obviously canned and very rubbery. The fried shrimp was mostly breading and the fish was mostly salt. The seasoned fries were burned and dry. Cole slaw was watery. The "special rolls", were dry and flavorless. Beverage options other than wine and beer were limited to fountain drinks or bottled water. Swing and a miss. Again, Justin was fantastic as far as getting us seated during a very busy time and our server was great. The food failed is all that was bad here.
