Portofino Coal Fired Pizza

So first and foremost the pizza here is good. It's actually surprisingly good not just for homestead but for Miami. However I only come here and order pizza to go. I haven't heard great things about the service and it doesn't seem like the management is very present. Today I came and there's people all around me saying their pizza is late by and hour or that they never got their salad. Personally my pizza was also late by an hour and mine was to go. Place has a lot of potential but just falls short.

The best pizza I have found in South Florida. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the service can be hit or miss. We have been here many, many times and we have experienced very, very slow service to the point of forgetting our order for over 45 mins to the other spectrum of very attentive service. I think it is a turnover issue with servers, but the food is spot on and worth the wait. Sit back, relax (and if you're like me just order 2 drinks at a time so you aren't mad when you wait LOL enjoy the food, its excellent).

I really love this pizza! It's fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the potatoe gold pizza, the sweet potatoe crust is so good.
