Pizzeria Cappelli

Only got one star because I can't give no stars. After I ordered and paid. I'm waiting and see a Disgusting sight, a cook sitting in the open kitchen eating, with his fingers, out of a container, then touching foods being ordered without washing his hands. I was then told they did not have what I ordered. (No parmesan sandwich in an "Italian Pizzeria"?). They then try to sell me a vegetable sandwich. I got my money back and bolted out of there. Will never see me back there. Sad thing was, the hotel recommended this place.

June 2019: I ordered a pepperoni & onion Neapolitan/thin crust pizza from Pizza Cappelli. It was DELISH! It was NY style. It came to my hotel in less than 20 min. I will get it again when I come back to Philly.

I ordered on the phone for delivery at 11:26 PM. The phone attendant became agitated because I did not specify if I was ordering pickup or delivery first. I am assuming it is because he has to follow a certain order on his device. During the call, I ordered a pepperoni pizza. The man on the phone, not paying attention, asked me again what kind of pizza I was ordering. I could hear the voice recognition tool on some kind of device, so I was hoping he captured my order.When the order came, it was wrong. I ordered pepperoni and got cheese. I called to correct it. They were upset with me and offered no apology. At this point, if you had been so overwhelmed and were getting orders wrong, the appropriate response from a place of business would be nothing like the garbage I was fed. I ordered at 11:26 PM. It was 2:15 AM before my correct order was delivered. In the end, the service was terrible and they spelled my name as Sack instead of Zach. Sack is not a name I have heard before

I ate here at least once a week for the first half of my 20s. Awesome. After Woody's would close at 2am I'd stand in a sometimes 45 minute line, not just for the pizza but the whole experience and atmosphere. I met some really good friends standing in that line. Lol. Thanks Gay Pizza.

Haley is outstanding! We are from out of town and she went over and beyond to make sure we were taking care of. Food delivered quickly to Pennsylvania hospital. She was patient and so so kind and helpful. We don’t know the area or what we can get.. but she was fantabulous!!!!! Give Haley a raise and allow her to help other people get what they need. Bellies fed without the hassle!!! Thanks Haley. Anytime we need food, in this area, you’ll be my only call!!

I like this place! They offer first-rate food, they have a rich menu, The chef in that place is very experienced, I love a lot tasting all their dishes. The dishes are consistently tasty, the service towards the guests is helpful. I frequently visit this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all.

We ordered the 18" CheeseSteak pizza by the phone. Order arrived fast and was really good for 4 peoples! The pizza crust was awesome.

I like this venue a lot. there is a romantic air. The cuisine is marvelous. the service is effective and the personel is trained. The pay is decent. greatly recommend.

What a disappointment. I ordered pizza delivery for the first time in Philadelphia. No taste whatsoever. I cancelled part of the order due to the city tax on beverages with sugar and my receipt was not changed. I was expected to sign a receipt with the price of the soda still on it. I will go hungry before I order from there again.

Amazing! First time in Philly and I can tell you I’ll be back again just to have more of this pizza!!! I love pizza and this is now in my top 5 pizzerias across the country! And I got an awesome shirt

Good late night drunk food. I got the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese pizza and the hamburger pizza, both of which were more deep-dish like - thick, lots of fluffy crust and lots of toppings. I had mixed feelings about the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese pizza (I love the idea of it, the flavor was good, but I didn't like the texture of the pasta with the pizza, and generally thought it was too much). But I really really liked the hamburger pizza - super satisfying and surprisingly not too greasy. I also some sort of bbq chicken pizza which was fine but nothing special.

One of the worst pizza I ever had!! I'm born and raised in philly and this pizza was the worst ever dont buy from there!! I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and there was no pineapple no ham no bacon just sauce and cheese a waste of my money!

This restaurant is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. Whenever I I need a fair meal, this restaurant comes instantly to my head. Great and all kinds of food and a rich cuisine.helpful crew, and great vibes. Not less important, the cost is modest. I recommend this spot with pleasure.

The cheesesteak pizza taste amazing. I highly recommend you go get one and again and again and again.

The Buffalo chicken pizza never disappoints.
