Our server was delightful, the, "morning beverages" were stiff, the food came out super fast and it wasn't bad at all. They let my wife and I share a breakfast. The Bloody Mary is very tasty!

The thought of having breakfast 🍳 at Phillips (one of my favorite seafood restaurant excited me) that’s until the good came. - I had the lump crab cake and eggs. I asked for the eggs scrambled with cheese but as you can tell from the pic they just places a slice on cheese on top of the omelette which looked melted but really wasn’t - potatoes were fine. Soft and hot- the crab cake is what you would expect from Phillips (no complaints there) - they do serve alcohol but that’s starting at 6am. It’s 4:35 now 😔 (just being dramatic, I don’t drink)

Newark’s A Gates are far from an enjoyable place to spend a couple of hours waiting for a flight, with uncomfortable chairs and unnecessarily warm temperatures even in December, but if you don’t have access to the American Airlines Admiral Club, this is about the best place to hang out. Decent views of the Manhattan skyline from the chairs facing out into the lobby, and the food is acceptable in a retro-1980s way. Power at most of the seats facing the walls.

Questions & Answers

No, its beyond the gate entrance.
