Pearl Oyster Bar opened as a 21-seat Seafood restaurant in 1997 to extraordinary acclaim. It was the first establishment in NYC to serve New England cuisine and popularized the lobster roll, never before served in New York. Pearl was also responsible for the upscale oyster bar trend and dining at the bar. The restaurant expanded in 2003 and is considered a New York Classic. Celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2017.

This is a really nice, small place that doesn't take reservations, so you better are early or lucky. We shared the mussels as a starter which came in a really nice wine-based sauce, and then my friend had the Red Snapper grilled and I tried the lobster roll with shoestring fries for which this restaurant has been known. The fish was perfect with some nice fresh herbs and the lobster meat was mouth-watering. A special mention deserves the very friendly, unpretentious service.

No, i haven't. I would call and check, but i imagine many things on the menu can be prepared gluten free
