Pretty good pastrami sandwich, but $20 is too much. Also a pity that they only have Gulden's style mustard, no Dijon. The potato knish was terrible, basically a huge lump of bland mashed potatoes with hardly any crust for $8. I'm told that that's what it's supposed to be like, so maybe I just don't like potato knishes.

1. Best pastrami in NY. Thick cut, just the way I like it.2. Ambiance... Reminds me of the delis I went to 50 years ago. Kibbitz is mandatory.3. Service is excellent even during lunch. They do a huge take out business, but always have time for a refill.4. Kosher under Rabbinical supervision.

The Zagat people really got it right on this one. Bring a friend or two when you come, split a sandwich, and for the love of god get some fries and onion rings. They'll give a food coma but it'll be a happy one. Also the chopped liver is sweet. Like, literally sweet. In case anyone was wondering.

Was good, pickles on point, but other places are better based on the price for the pastrami sandwich.

It was good and tasty! The pastrami was a big fatty and there wasn’t a lot of pastrami on the bread. But otherwise great spot for a quick pastrami bite!

What a home style comfortable food place. You feel like a part of the neighborhood no matter where yah from. The pastrami is next level.

Pastrami Queen definitely lives up to the hype. It serves unreal pastrami which is a thicker cut then most, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Not too much fat on the meat which I personally prefer. My only beef (no pun intended) is they don’t load up the sandwich as much as other places do such as Katz’s deli which you expect with a $20 sandwich. However, I was definitely filled up after eating the sandwich, pickles and Dr. Browns so hard to complain.
