Pretty good pastrami sandwich, but $20 is too much. Also a pity that they only have Gulden's style mustard, no Dijon.The potato knish was terrible, basically a huge lump of bland mashed potatoes with hardly any crust for $8. I'm told that that's what it's supposed to be like, so maybe I just don't like potato knishes.

1. Best pastrami in NY. Thick cut, just the way I like it.2. Ambiance... Reminds me of the delis I went to 50 years ago. Kibbitz is mandatory.3. Service is excellent even during lunch. They do a huge take out business, but always have time for a refill.4. Kosher under Rabbinical supervision.

It all depends what you define as kosher it's open Saturday so it cant have a kosher certification so its definitely not glatt kosher
Who cares, bring your own. Just eat those big beautiful sandwiches.
