Outback steakhouse is a great restaurant chain and has good food with good service. They serve steak, shrimp and other foods cooked on a grill. They have a rather nice sized bar that looks fully stocked. All that being said, the only thing I have gotten from Outback steakhouse in the last 12 years is thier Blooming Onion!!! Now, the Mechanicsville Outback has always cooked my Blooming Onion exactly the way I like it, cooked well with extra dipping sauce. I can and usually eat one as a meal, ALL BY MYSELF and I am full!!! This prevents friends and family from double dipping in my sauce!!! I will eat them in the restaurant or eat one while driving, THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!! I suggest you get in there and try one, you won't be disappointed!!!

Service and food are both inconsistent. On our last visit, the food was good and service was excellent, but they've both been bad. The parking lot is too small, especially on weekends.

The food was absolutely outstanding. Our server was the greatest that I've ever had. We had my handicap daughter's 30th birthday there and she was very attentive she went above and beyond the call and she made us feel like she wanted us to be there and made everybody at the table very happy and I was very pleased.

Good idea

Yes. I reserved space for a large party with no difficulties.

Google Maps Questions area is place for customers to ask questions of other customers about a place or service. Sometimes the establishments do troll for questions here, but not often (in my experience). Best bet to get a real answer is to contact the place directly.... or pay grubhub or Uber to pick up and deliver to you.

They have prime rib and yes they also have prices

You should direct that feedback to the restaurant, rather than the Maps community. They won't see it here. But really? 15 minutes? Doesn't sound like much to get worked up about, really.

Have to call in advance for large group reservations
