Food, Surprisingly good presentation and delicious as it looks. Best sausage and eggs I've had in a while. Bathrooms are remodeled nicer than the restaurant and are spotless. Good service.

If you like breakfast then you will love, love, love the food here! The menu here is extensive, and include many pancake and waffle options. But their 5 egg omelette will defy your appetite. If you think you are hungry enough try the Apple Pancake. My personal favorite is the Cherry crepes. But you should try their fresh squeezed orange juice or a large glass of organic chocolate milk. I have yet to find a complaint about anything on their menu. The downside is that you are likely to wait for a table due to its popularity. Also the parking lot fills up quickly. And they close at 2 p.m. So you better get there soon!

I've been by this place probably a few hundred times and never gave it a second thought. After today I'll definitely be going back. The pancakes are absolutely delicious!! I also had an omelette.... Unknowingly that they are gigantic but very well worth what you pay! Service was great and very friendly. Overall a great first visit and I'll definitely return :)

Had the Swedish pancakes with the lingonberries. The dish tasted good. I also had a side of corned beef hash and the corned beef flavor really came through.

Worth its wait in gold. (Pun intended). There is almost always a wait to get in, but when you eat, you will not be disappointed. The atmosphere is very much like a small diner, but its cozy. I have seen a few reviews that mention a longer wait to get food, but from reading them I can see why. One reviewer mentioned the Dutch Boy, which literally says on the menu that it takes 30 minutes to make. All of their omelettes also have a similar disclaimer for 15-20 minutes as they are oven baked. My most recent visit I had the French Toast with a side of eggs and bacon. It was fantastic. If you have a gluten intolerance, most of their pancake dishes can also be made gluten free.Overall a great experience at this location and I could not recommend it more.

I've only been here a few times. I've never left unsatisfied. The food tastes amazing. The portions are very generous. The scenery is beautiful. I love the fish aquarium. The servers are very helpful and friendly. I will definitely return for another western omelette and some more delicious Energizer waffles.

Love the Strawberry Crepes. I request them light golden browned and they are good at preparing... unlike other places I have visited where the crepes are doughy.

The food was very good, as was the service and atmosphere. It is very clean and bright. Although there is usually a wait, we did not have to wait. I will be going back again.

The Pancake House is magnificent they have good food and our meals are very large butter a little bit average above-average because her meals are so large like an omelette 6 eggs instead of 3 very friendly waitresses that's my second time there and I'll probably be going there on a regular basis headsets better than the competition

wow, this place was hopping when we were there. seemed to be a regular hangout for most of the people in and out while we were there. my friend and I decided to get orders that would allow us to try almost everything they offered. we ended up with 6 egg omelets that also came with a stack of pancakes, plus, I ordered a side of gravy to try. when it comes to omelets, I normally order a side of gravy to pour over mine.as hard as I tried, I couldn't clean my plate. I know a restaurant is serving big dishes when I leave food behind. my friend finished all of his, but I have no idea how he did it, he said it wasn't easy. I think if I had it to do over, I would've ordered my omelet with half the amount of cheese. it was good, but I scooped out quite a bit of cheese. I probably wouldn't have gone with orange juice either, or I would've requested no pulp if they have it, it was a little pulpy for me. other than those 2 things, it was great choosing to eat here, recommend.

Questions & Answers

The Original Pancake House is devoted to their patrons. That is why the wait staff is focused on the customers at or waiting for a table. In the U.S. a waitress earns a whopping$2.35/hour. The table customers make up the difference. A carryout order earns very few tips and ties up the kitchen which can hurt them on table tips. That is a double whammy to them. So when a restaurant only has a few hours to make their profit we should respect that and help them -- and the wait staff -- continue to be there for us.

I have never had anything bad from their menu. But there are some things that are considered Specialties there. The Apple pancake which is made from a German pancake with apples brown sugar and cinnamon in side of it. Their omelettes are made with 5 eggs so they are huge. But the Cherry crepes are my absolute favorite.

Quite reasonable given the portions and quality
