Loved the food! Simple goodness. Goetta and eggs with buttermilk pancakes. Perfect start to the day.

Food, Surprisingly good presentation and delicious as it looks. Best sausage and eggs I've had in a while. Bathrooms are remodeled nicer than the restaurant and are spotless. Good service.

If you like breakfast then you will love, love, love the food here! The menu here is extensive, and include many pancake and waffle options. But their 5 egg omelette will defy your appetite. If you think you are hungry enough try the Apple Pancake. My personal favorite is the Cherry crepes. But you should try their fresh squeezed orange juice or a large glass of organic chocolate milk. I have yet to find a complaint about anything on their menu. The downside is that you are likely to wait for a table due to its popularity. Also the parking lot fills up quickly. And they close at 2 p.m. So you better get there soon!

Questions & Answers

The Original Pancake House is devoted to their patrons. That is why the wait staff is focused on the customers at or waiting for a table. In the U.S. a waitress earns a whopping$2.35/hour. The table customers make up the difference. A carryout order earns very few tips and ties up the kitchen which can hurt them on table tips. That is a double whammy to them. So when a restaurant only has a few hours to make their profit we should respect that and help them -- and the wait staff -- continue to be there for us.

I have never had anything bad from their menu. But there are some things that are considered Specialties there. The Apple pancake which is made from a German pancake with apples brown sugar and cinnamon in side of it. Their omelettes are made with 5 eggs so they are huge. But the Cherry crepes are my absolute favorite.

Quite reasonable given the portions and quality
