Salmon was wonderfully prepared and the duck was amazing. Service was great. Best views in New York! Relatively expensive when you factor in the cost of observatory tickets, but so worth it. Get the premium tickets and you get $15 drink credits per person.

Excellent place to get food when in a hurry. Their customer service is rapid, pricing is reasonable, great atmosphere. Will visit here again

We bought tickets for the tour which included a $15 discount on drinks/food here. We only had drinks while sitting at the bar (which only had a handful of seats). Our service was fantastic and the drinks were good. We were able to sit and watch the sun go down over NYC and then see the city lights come to life. It was well worth the cost (which really wasn't high for drinks in the area) and was a great experience! Would I go back? Probably not - too many other options and things to do in NYC. Having said that...go at least once and enjoy the experience! Try to go when it isn't too terribly busy - if that is even possible.

Questions & Answers

It is highly recommended to book in advance.

The restaurant is integrated with the viewing platform. So in the walk through the plains you will automatically pass the restaurant .

Yes. They charge to go to the top, about $33

No upgrade ticket is needed. The reservation is required for the restaurant, the bar is first come first serve. However, you need the standard ticket to gain the access.

Check out the rooftop at Bar Hugo. We stayed in the hotel just because of the rooftop Restaurant and Bar. Good food and drinks. Amazing skyline views on both sides of the hotel's rooftop.

No. Don't miss the elevator

I had 7PM Dinner appt - I was told that I had to purchase a ticket to go dine there. That sounds like a rip off for anyone considering I used to dine at the Windows on the World and I didn't have to buy a ticket. It was like a bait and switch - Even if you purchased a ticket for the observatory, you would still have to get in the massive line with the rest of the tourists. Of course, you can beat the line buy buying a pricier ticket for 2x the original price of the regular ticket (to Go to Dinner?) Seriously ? POOR MARKETING - POOR MANAGEMENT POOR SETUP

It feels like anything is fine. There are people dressed up for a nice dinner and tourists eating in shorts and t-shirts.
