NORMS Restaurant

This was by far the worst dine in experience ever. First of all, the restaurant does not enforce any code of conduct or basic common courtesy. They allow families with small children to do whatever they want as though they are at home. It seems like none of these parents know what headphones or earbuds are as I heard kids video blaring at the highest volume their phones and tablets would allow. Our service was extremely slow and our food came to our table cold. I normally sit at the counter because I like watching the action and my food is served pretty fast. Plus, and this is a big plus, no small children, infants and toddlers at the counter. So, you can dine in peace.

I was with a group of people. About 4 to be exact. We were seated right away, no waiting. Service was ok at first but the follow up service after was horrible. We got our check before everyone had their food. When you get the check when eating out it's usually a signal that they want you to leave. I doubt I will go back. Drink refills required us to flag down the waiter/waitress. Who was inattentive, when asked for a manger the manager seemed unprofessional, not concerned with what has happened. She offered excuses instead of apologies. Compensation for bad service was not offered. We had to ask about that.

ITS great our server Annie was so kind and helpful very patient knowledgeable, Our food was perfect. The Manager Mr. Dennis Cuyugan, was apprecaited and took time to listen how well and happy his employee Ms. Annie handled our food order with such a great smile. Ms Annie has you smiling. when she does. HAPPY PLACE TO EAT. FOOD GREAT.

Was there one later night but service was very slow. It also seemed like the waitress was fairly new and nervous and would forget some of our requests. Even after our food finally arrived we had to wait a good amount of time for forks and knives to be brought out. Went another time during the day and service was better. Food is okay.

We ordered the 1/2 sandwhich and soup and a dessert. The Waitress forgot to bring us the soup. After I told her about her forgetting the soup I asked if she could bring the dessert also. Because I didn't want to wait again. She only brought with her the soup. After finishing the soup we waited awhile to see her again and she finally brought us the desserts. Most of the time the service here is good at least the 2 or 3 times that I been here. They would come around to ask if we needed anything else. I dont know what happened that day.

It’s not what it used to be. Overpriced for the quality of the food. Waited an hour to have server take our drink order and food was delivered at a sloth pace. It was a very sad to watch, waitress was everywhere, looked overworked. Terrible service, terrible food, terrible price. Definitely NEVER coming here again.

I took my family out here for mother day, although it's normally packed it's faster then most places I seen. The customer service was lovely and the food was fantastic I would suggest "The lumberjack breakfast".

Coffee tasted like water food not really good. The princess are high. I use to go to norms in Whittier really good now I don’t recommen it any more. I ordered sirloin stake and eggs not good at all.

I loved the food, but the price of going out (anywhere) has gone up so much.I got the cheapest decent breakfast and paid 14.25 (20% tip included).Just a few short years ago I could have gotten the same deal for 8 dollars. Still a good place, though.I will be back.

Sorry, but I just didn't like their food ,too greasy untasteful. Service is fast, and their coffee is not the best ☕️ .This is a family restaurant, and it gets busy, especially on weekends. Plenty of parking. Atmosphere is ok. Fast and a bit loud when crowded. Torrance location.

I have changed my ratings from a five star, to four star, a now to a one star. The customer service is terrible. The last three times I have not even been "acknowledged" as I stand and wait to be seated. When I force to be seated, no water, no silverware, no menu, no communication. I am not certain if it's new management but I do not see any familiar faces and the last three times there was only good waiter that had to carry the load because the other waitresses can't handle the job and rude too! This doesn't include the cooks or table guys. But after over three decades of being a loyal customer in this Norm's in my community --i think it's strike three for me and all the people that I invite to eat here. Ironically, they do not have the quality assurance forms as they did.

I went in today with a friend and I ordered the Tbone 🥩 steak with eggs and hash browns. The steak 🥩 did not taste or smell good! I will not return! I won’t even give it to my dog! I’m going to see who I have to make a complaint about this with and if the State can inspect this location. Waitress asked if I needed a menu to order 😳 Then she took forever to refill my drink 🙄 I had to eat my food with no drink...... Smh

I usually go to the Norms on PCH or the one on Hawthorne. Customer Service was good in both locations. The food came on good timing. I always get the strawberry French toast with a side of eggs and loaded hashbrowns! 😋 So yummy. Their steak and eggs are descent.

Norms is great! The food is always hot, tasty, well-portioned, and a great value. It is always busy. The service does not disappoint. Two thumbs up!!! 👍👍

It a staple with my friends and family. I do find it weird that the Veterans discount is only on certain days. It only my opinion but why limit it? It only makes me less likely to go on the days it won't be available to use. Otherwise I have no complaints.
