New Grand Chinese Kitchen

I remember when I first started visiting this restaurant back in the 80, the food was excellent, plentiful and reasonable, I don't know if the owner Retired, or got I'll, but that's when the restaurant did a whole 360. The food is still edible, but not the same quality. Now it seems like what they throw together is what u get. I always order pepper steak and chicken fried rice. For starts the amount of chicken in the fried rice is invisible, might as well order plain fried rice it's cheaper and the steak if I may call it that is very tough, but you do get a lot of peppers and onions, how big of a difference time makes, and the one on 87th and Dan Ryan is a big joke, bad customer service, non speaking English only when they want too, and not to mention how they add up your bill with the calculator, no price for each of the items on the bill, just the total, and they give no receipt. "I'm just saying" I visited there yesterday and it is no longer worth my 48 miles drive.

My family was coming here for years until one day I said I haven’t had it in a while , a year ago I order the lo mein noodles and orange chicken with a smoothie. Food was soo good ! I looked in the bag and seen a roach climb out . I was so disgusted , disappointed! I called the manager told me to return the food and the receipt. I got my money back but because I drunk some of my smoothie , I didn’t get my refund for it smh . Chinese ppl kill me , never had them since .
