it was cold out and we were hungry for some brunch. the pictures from this place made out mouths water and our tummies grumble. the more i read about this place, the more i wanted to go. EAT EVERYTHING.the cinnamon rolls were warm, tender, and tasty. the waffles were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. the chorizo hash was delicious, the bacon was extra crispy. the poached eggs were light and yummy, the avocado toast was very flavourful.i would definitely go there again.

I think one of the best affordable-upscale restaurants in New York. There are meat dishes, but enough vegetarian options that it's a good place to go with vegetarian friends, especially if you're getting a few things and sharing. Amazing food and great cocktails. I generally don't go to the same restaurants again and again, but I've been here multiple times and am delighted every time.

Very nice place with good service and great food. The terrace is very enjoyable, we had brunch there. We had the crab scramble, the tomato benedicts and the iced cinnamon buns. Everything was great.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly service, but disappointing brunch. Everything felt heavy handed and one-note—French toast bites were dense and tasted a bit stale, as if they were cooked in advance and just dressed to order. Biscuits and gravy was overly rich, although the gravy was oddly a bit sweet. Eggs Benedict wasn’t memorable. The portions were small, but we walked away feeling stuffed, not in a good way. Mediocre at best.

This may be the world's saddest and tiniest avocado toast (this is one portion split on two plates)... At least the eggs were good. Definitely not worth $15 though. The teapot is also only half filled up with water. Service is slow. Lots of room for improvement.

A delightful place, especially the garden when the weather is nice and warm. Everyone were happy about their orders. The French toast bites are especially good, they actually are among the best I tasted in the city. The two years old child we had with us also enjoyed the place. She loved exploring all the decorations (especially the huge snake featured in one of the photos here) and playing with the cornehole.

This review is for brunch. Narcissa is gorgeous! The indoor space is lovely, with almost a cozy treehouse vibe. They also have a walled off outdoor space that allows for some sun in a more private space. For brunch we shared French toast sticks (amazing) and I enjoyed the vegan chilaquiles. Reasonable menu with slight twists on the usual favorites. Service was great. Would brunch again!

Really enjoyed the vegetarian options, especially the mushrooms and fava bean dip. The passion fruit dessert was beautiful and delicious! Reminded me of a Brazilian dessert! Don’t understand the place setting with the plates in the center of the table. Sounds stupid, but felt a little too casual for the type of restaurant 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tasty warm house rolls, unique beef tartare, good squash. Decent service at the bar. All around good atmosphere, not too loud, solid lighting, and cozy experience. Maybe a bit overpriced.

Very nice options, ideal for sharing. If you go early around 18:00, you'll have a quiet dinner, it gets a bit louder later as it fills up. The sweet potatoes and shishito peppers were a favorite.

We really enjoyed this restaurant, the Fava Bean dip was a great alternative to the usual hummus appetizer option you see and our server Sidney was absolutely fantastic!! Would highly recommend :)

I would go back AGAIN & AGAIN! I enjoyed mellow ambience and the food was AMAZING! Every drink that we sipped and bite that we took was top notch! I loved my meal. The oysters weren't salty, the wine didn't have excess tannins, and the pistachio dip? Lord, take me back ! If you're thinking of going, GO! You want be disappointed.

Came here for dinner with a large group, and we all enjoyed the meal and ambiance. Small menu but everything we ordered we liked— a well curated, interesting modern American vibe. Excellent cocktails that weren’t sweet or acidic and had variety and flavor. We had a great server & the decor of the place makes it a comfortable spot, too.

Really cute outdoor space, with both seating and standing areas. Not much on the food menu - this is better for tapas with drinks. Backyard is shaded and covered with a ton of greenery and cute lanterns for when it gets dark. Came here for drinks
