Mr Bones is a one of a kind family owned and operated business. We have lived and worked on Anna Maria Island since 1992. We have a loyal following of locals, and Snowbirds (as well as our snowbirds from across the pond). If you are looking for the same old corporate American vacation cuisine, you will NOT find it here. All of our food is actually home made in our little 40 seat restaurant. We are the only island restaurant with a separate menu for our vegan friends, so family's can go out to eat together. If you don't feel like eating out, after a long day on the beach or on the boat, "take out" is available. For groups of 15 + see our catering menu on our website.

Favorite AMI eatery! Literally a cuisine for everyone! One of the only places I can take my vegan friends that they are head over heels with! Don't even ask!

Ok at best. Menu is diverse(bbq,Indian,vegan)Since it’s a BBQ joint I felt compelled to eat BBQ. Ordered 1/2 cx with hot bbq. White meat was dry, dark meat could have been cooked more. Zero smoke flavor, no spicy at all. Sides were the most enjoyable part of meal. Sign entering dining room- the chef wants to tell you how great he is. If I would have seen that on the way in I would have left. Let the food speak for itself.

Good food. Best potato salad and baked beans around. Overall good experience. Prepare to be crowded, small restaurant. Food was warm but not hot like I would want. That is the reason for the 4 star.
