Mitmita Ethiopian Restaurant

So wonderful - Athena was a joy. My friend and I enjoyed so much. We both had chicken sambusa to start with the honey Mead wine which was superb. Then she had lamb with collards and green beans and I had doro-wat with chicken and collards and red lentils. Everything was Devine. Thank you Mitmita, which I learned means spices. I will be back for fish or shrimp next time.

GREAT PLACE FOR VEGANS. Wish I had pics of the amazing food made by a very warm and welcoming woman. North Tampa needs a great Ethiopian place and this one will surely become a top spot in the near future. Definitely stop by and support this place so they can continue to cook this amazing food!

Authentic and absolutely delicious Ethiopian cuisine, at very reasonable prices. We loved the vegetarian sampler. Two of us couldn’t finish it! Try the honey wine.
