I love the milk bar, it’s exactly what it sets out to be. An enjoyable little shop, with great desserts. Yes it’s expensive, but where else can you get cereal milk ice cream with delicious pieces of cake batter. Plus they really do make a good birthday cake. It’s not as big as a flagship, but the selection holds up, and they have extremely nice people working the counter. Go and enjoy.

Came here around dinner time, place gets packed. There are separate lines for pizza and dessert. Pizza line is pretty sure, they have 6 different personal pizzas or you can make your own. It comes out pretty quick less than 5 mins. I tried the Maverick which is meat lovers and I found it delicious! Nice thin crust and great toppings. If starving might not fill you up.For dessert the ice cream was tasty. They put cereal on it (corn flakes I think) which gets some getting used to initially. They give you a decent portion with lots of toppings. The craft drinks were unique. I think my favs after trying them all were the lemonade one and passion fruit one.

Desserts are fun but pricey. Had high hopes for the cake truffles, but they were a little too sweet, but not bad. The cereal milk ice cream made for a pretty picture, but was personally not my favorite as it tasted very milky. Not Milk Bar's fault though, since the cereal milk soft serve does come as advertised (supposed to taste like the milk left after you finish the cereal in the bowl--which it does). So if you like cereal milk in real life, you'll probably like the soft serve.

Milk bar &pizza is one of the most happening dessert outlets in Cambridge. Being a popular joint this place experiences a lot of crowd during the evening times. Had been here on Valentine’s Day evening and the queue for the dessert bar was humongous. I eventually ended up ordering a pizza from the &pizza section here. The pizza was delicious. They have a unique pizza bread which isn’t circular like the regular one and that just upped the creativity quotient by a big margin. Kudos to the team there. Overall great service and ambience. Would definitely recommend people to visit.

Pros:customer service is great - everyone is always friendly patient and helpful despite the crowds the cornflake crunch topping - salty and buttery FYI - I love that they put it on the top AND bottom of your ice creamIt’s a $1 extra but I recommend getting extra topping on the side Cons: Cookies are good in theory but - no dates on package saying when they’re made and a couple times I’ve had them and they’ve been pretty stale (they’re made in NY and shipped over, so not super fresh) Crack pie is also just ok- I think if it was freshly made and served at room temp (and not refrigerated) it would be much better The lines get very long (Thur-Sun nights especially)The set up and space of the store isn’t great- esp when crowded not much room to move or sit

Questions & Answers

I actually just called. They do...for anyone else wondering.

I don't believe so.

A pre-order is usually the better a way to go. That way, you can get the cake you want as opposed to relying on chance.

Milk Bar is a bakery. They have cookies, truffles, pies, cakes and soft serve.
